Overall Rationale: This is how I feel at the moment. This week I refused to consider any 2 loss teams, may consider some next week. Next 5 In: Florida State, LSU, Illinois, Coastal Carolina, NC State

1 Ohio State Buckeyes -, out of the top three teams they are the only one who hasn't had a really big scare.
2 Alabama Crimson Tide +1, Bama's almost loss to Texas is better than Georgia's almost loss to Mizzou, but UGA has the better win so its a toss up, went with my gut and said Bama.
3 Georgia Bulldogs -1, ugly win this week.
4 Tennessee Volunteers -, No game this week, didn't think that they should drop for that.
5 Clemson Tigers +1, I contend that the Wake Forest win is better looking than the NC State one. I still think NC State are frauds that should've lost to East Carolina. But they looked good this week, almost put them at 4.
6 USC Trojans +1, a fine win, moves up bc of Kentucky loss.
7 Michigan Wolverines +2, good win over Iowa. Still needs to get a statement emphatic victory over some big ten teams to give me more confidence in them.
8 Oklahoma State Cowboys +2, almost had them leapfrog Michigan, very good win over what I see as a good Baylor team, but overall their wins aren't great atm, resume needs to be built.
9 Ole Miss Rebels +14, this win showed me they're real as they've seemed suspect at times against teams they should easily handle like Tulsa and Troy. But a win like this over an undefeated SEC power to put you at 5-0 is deserving of top 10 status.
10 Utah Utes +4, great win over a good Beavers squad. They're the best 1 loss team in America in my opinion.
11 Kansas Jayhawks +1, moved up a spot because of something I'll explain in the next ranking. Not a great win but a win nonetheless against a decent Cyclones team. Can't wait for Gameday.
12 Penn State Nittany Lions -1, five turnovers... if they play any other big ten team bar maybe Nebraska, they probably lose that game. They should count their lucky stars they played a team who is anemic to offense that wasn't Iowa, bc if it was Iowa it'd have been like 8 turnovers.
13 Kentucky Wildcats -8, tough loss but it was close and came down to a rough mistake. Still a very good team though.
14 Oregon Ducks -1, moved down bc Ole Miss moved up. They were fine this week but its just Stanford.
15 Wake Forest Demon Deacons +4, God I wish they beat Clemson ugh. Wake Forest is fun and they're very good.
16 TCU Horned Frogs NR, I could've watched them beat Oklahoma all Saturday long. Beautiful.
17 Syracuse Orange -1, It was Wagner.
18 UCLA Bruins NR, I was high on Washington and low on UCLA, now there's egg on my face, Bruins are good, but their other wins have always felt suspect, wouldn't be surprised at a random loss by them soon.
19 Kansas State Wildcats +5, there was a lot of chaos at the bottom of my rankings last week that K State benefitted from. Leapfrogged BYU for reasons ill explain.
20 BYU Cougars -, did not look great against a bad Utah State team. They continue to eek by rn. We'll see if that continues (i don't think it will)
21 Washington Huskies -13, made it a game late against UCLA but couldn't get the win. I still think they're good but suspect. Everyone below #20 is ehhh. May revisit if they deserve to be ranked next week.
22 Mississippi State Bulldogs NR, I have them above LSU because I think Miss State has better wins than LSU and because I dont wanna rank Florida State and I just feel less comfortable ranking LSU above FSU than about ranking Miss St above LSU. Don't know why, gut feeling really.
23 James Madison Dukes NR, undefeated with an impressive win over App State, deserves a ranking.
24 Maryland Terrapins NR, call me a homer if you want but a 1 loss team with a win over a pretty good SMU team and played Michigan close away... I really think outside of those top 3 teams in the Big Ten it's between Maryland, Illinois, and Minnesota for 4th and Maryland has the best loss of the three.
25 Washington State Cougars NR, played Oregon close in their only loss, their Wisconsin win looks worse and worse but a comfortable win over a Cal team I think is actually decent at the moment sneaks them in at #25.
