Overall Rationale: What a week! Where to start? How about Kansas, in their third-ever week as a TERSE top 50 team, making it all the way to No. 16? Clemson, Ole Miss, USC, and Syracuse all jumped into the top ten this week, and Kansas State, Kansas, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, TCU, and LSU joined (or rejoined) the top 25. On the other hand, Oklahoma drops from the top fifteen for the first time since Week 12 of 2020 (and out of the rankings for the first time since Week 9 of 2020). Further down, No. 124 Colorado is the worst P5 team by some 14 spots under Northwestern, and FIU's first FBS win since 2019 buoys them out of dead last for the first time since Week 11 last year. That's a lot of history for just one week!
