2 Alabama Crimson Tide Solid win over Arkansas.
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Still not playing at 100% but dominating lesser opponents
4 Clemson Tigers Wins over WF and NCSt look quite good now.
5 Michigan Wolverines
6 USC Trojans
7 Oklahoma State Cowboys First real test of the season was a quality road win.
8 Penn State Nittany Lions Struggled a bit with Northwestern but game was never in doubt.
9 Tennessee Volunteers
10 Utah Utes Loss to Florida doesn't look great, but they've played very well since. Absolutely blew out a team USC barely beat.
11 Oregon Ducks UGA loss still stings, but victory over 4-1 BYU and WSU help their argument a lot.
12 Wake Forest Demon Deacons I felt they played Clemson a bit better, so get the edge over the Wolfpack, their best win is a notch above as well.
13 NC State Wolfpack
14 TCU Horned Frogs Destroying Oklahoma like that is impressive. It'll be interesting to see how they fare against Kansas next week. Speaking of...
15 Kansas Jayhawks Still not a coward.
16 UCLA Bruins Their struggles with South Alabama looked bad at the time, but they've won every other game easily, and USA has won all four of their other games. This might be a very good team.
17 Ole Miss Rebels Didn't have them ranked until now. Solid win over a good UK team moves them up pretty high
18 BYU Cougars
19 Florida State Seminoles Tough loss but still looking pretty good.
20 LSU Tigers This team is surprisingly 4-1 with only a 1 point loss to a ranked team. Might be better than thought.
21 Mississippi State Bulldogs Slaughter of TAMU brings them here.
22 Kentucky Wildcats None of their wins are looking particularly great in hindsight.
23 Washington Huskies Sparty win doesn't look as good now.
24 Maryland Terrapins Only loss is by one score to a top 5 Wolverines team. Beat Sparty in a similar fashion to Wash. Puts them here.
25 Syracuse Orange Purdue beating Minnesota not only knocks the Gophers out but also helps Cuse's argument. Haven't been dominant but 5-0 is 5-0. Have them just a nose above JMU for #25
