Overall Rationale: This computer poll is all merit based. It is not looking at perceived strength or talent, it only ranks purely on what each time has achieved so far.The way this poll works is that for each Division 1 team you beat you gain points and depending on how many teams that team beats you get secondary points.For example in week 1 Auburn  beat Oregon. Auburn only gets a boost to their rankings once Oregon starts winning multiple games. This helps prevent biases that we have in assuming how good different teams are. A good example of this is a few years back where Texas beat Notre Dame, everyone assumed Texas was back, and it ultimately turned out that both Texas and Notre Dame were bad that year.For week 1, due to only one week of data, it has some pretty fun results. It typically takes 4-5 weeks before there is enough data set.
