The ranked team with the toughest schedule so far, their opponents boasting a 73% win percentage. Also the highest ranked 2 loss team. Quality wins over Duke |4| and USC |2|, with a pair of Tier 1 losses to Indiana and Ohio State. But both those losses being blowouts is not encouraging. |

63-10 vs 34-16. Should Indiana be #1? Many people are asking! |

Illinois has genuinely failed upward because its resume is getting better. It will force Cincy not to be ranked, but I keep reminding myself that it is completely okay to be wrong about a team, since the season isn't over yet, and it can always change. |

Illinois is 5-2 with a nice win over USC (5-1). Lost to Ohio State (6-0) and Indiana (6-0) |

Might be frauds of the year. Kind of like Indiana last year, beat up on bad teams, blown out by great teams |

Erm, two quality losses much? Nebraska probably deserves to be here instead...but for now, I'll let my bias flow... |

Similar to how I had FSU last week, I don't see how I can drop them since their only losses are to my #1 and #3 teams + they have a ranked win over USC. In the top 25, only Alabama has a tougher SOS (4 vs 2) and only one other team has an SOS in the top 10 (UGA at 8). I can't believe I'm sticking up for Illinois but I'll let the winner of their next game against Washington say in the top 25. |
