The season is an utter failure considering the money spent on the roster and coaches and the preseason expectations. Don't lose to Kentucky and you're in.

That said, they did defeat Georgia and were the only team to put a tight lid on South Carolina, so maybe having them be a mid-grade team in the #10s isn't so bad after all. Quality wins: @South Carolina, Georgia

Tough season for Ole Miss, but dropping three games against Kentucky (bad), Florida, and LSU (not that bad), and an exceptionally weak non-conference (#59 Georgia Southern was probably the toughest non-con game) are what kept Ole Miss out of the playoff.
