Overall Rationale: - Oregon is clear #1, then the rest is way closer and harder to evaluate;
- Some placements are more of an elimination process of "who doesn't deserve to be there" than who deserves;
- Conference winners are rewarded, but runner-ups are not punished outside of an absolutely horrendous game (sorry Louisiana);
- Penn St. and Texas is a toss-up;
- Notre Dame is hard to evaluate;
- Boise is closer to OSU and ND than to Indiana and Tenn;
- SMU and Arizona St. are close too;
- #20 and bellow is probably close to #30 than to #15;
- Missouri and Colorado could be frauds, but there's a lack of teams looking convincing in that range.
