HieloLuz 20 Falls 12 spots after a blowout loss to Notre Dame |2|. Chances for quality wins are slim, and their path to the playoff has ended bar complete collapses from Mountain west teams. 24
KJdkaslknv 20
MADBuc49 20 +4. Deservedness blocking highly-rated 2-loss teams with no loss allowances over Army such as Illinois from being ranked ahead of Army. Even though they lost, still have them rated over Army
No11223456 20
Noy_Telinu 20 Yes they had 6 turnovers vs Notre Dame, but when they didn't do that, they moved the ball a TON on a great defense.

T-Thugs 23 Navy is 6-1 with a loss to Notre Dame. Has a nice win over Memphis (7-1), though, which keeps them ranked in my poll. Could win the American if they beat Army and Tulane.

JazzYotesRSL 24 It was an ugly day for Navy, with 6 turnovers (and unlike SMU, they couldn’t find a way to win). I’m going to chalk that up to nerves and say they still can have a great season.

throwaway_6786 24 Speaking of teams who got crushed, the Midshipmen just got walloped by ND, but the win over Memphis plus the carnage below them keeps them afloat in the rankings. Two tough games remain: Tulane and Army. They're still undefeated in AAC play, so if they can beat Tulane, an AAC Championship Game win could bolster their resume even more and give them a puncher's chance for the G5 spot in the CFP. It will be interesting to see if the Army-Navy game being played after the CFP selections will have a significant effect on the G5 candidate.

Mynameisdiehard 25 As always, it's the best of the rest. I think most polls see Navy dropping out since their loss is more recent, but the way I build resumes week to week they still deserve this spot. Their 1 loss is to a highly ranked team, and when compared to the next team we left out, Memphis, well Navy BEAT Memphis so they deserve to be above them on that rule alone. The one argument here for me is Missouri, but getting blown out by the only 2 ranked teams you are going to play all year is hardly worth a spot for me at this time, especially when you combine that with them also struggling against mediocre teams. When I look at Mizzous remaining schedule, I don't see one that is a guaranteed win in my mind and that alone is enough to have me keep Navy in my T25 for now.
