1 Oregon Ducks undefeated with 2 wins vs playoff teams. Even having bad weeks they’re still winning by 3 scores
2 Ohio State Buckeyes has shown they’re essentially neck and neck with Oregon and is undefeated otherwise
3 Texas Longhorns still looking solid against their SEC schedule with just the 1 slip up to a good Georgia team
4 Indiana Hoosiers undefeated albeit against a weaker schedule. Clearly outplaying their opponent every game up until this week
5 BYU Cougars Essentially the same thing as Indiana but has looked less convincing. Better wins than any team not named Oregon
6 Tennessee Volunteers Has looked good all season outside of an inexplicable loss to Arkansas
7 Penn State Nittany Lions Still definitely a playoff team and is beating every team on their schedule, but has yet to show they’re one of THE teams
8 SMU Mustangs Can’t fault a team for staying winning and their only loss keeps looking better and better
9 Boise State Broncos Same as SMU with a less impressive resume
10 Ole Miss Rebels has looked fairly impressive outside of their 2 losses, but still has two losses
11 Georgia Bulldogs still a good team but can’t put them above ole miss after they just lost to them
12 Notre Dame Fighting Irish obviously a decent team but their 1 loss is abysmal
13 Alabama Crimson Tide has looked inconsistent all year and although vanderbilt is decent they’re still not a good loss
14 Miami Hurricanes finally got what was coming to them
15 Army West Point winning games gets you higher, and they’ve been doing that. ND/Army should essentially be a plan-in if they both win otherwise
16 Texas A&M Aggies quality team with 2 losses to good teams, although they shouldn’t have gotten blown out by SCAR
17 Colorado Buffaloes sneakily controls their own destiny at this point (similar to every team above them)
18 Louisville Cardinals 3 losses all to good teams and 1 win against a good team
19 Clemson Tigers still a decent team but is riding off of name value imo, could be a sneaky competitor but not necessarily
20 Washington State Cougars can’t fault a team for winning but their schedule is weak for sure. could sneak in w chaos
21 LSU Tigers obviously a formidable team but the USC loss hurts them
22 Kansas State Wildcats cannot believe they lost to houston
23 South Carolina Gamecocks looking better and better as the year goes on, unfortunately the LSU game turned out the way it did because they could really upset a lot of teams right now
24 Arizona State Sun Devils DILLY DILLY much improved team with a great upcoming prove it game against k state
25 Tulane Green Wave they’re beating everyone on their schedule and have looked fantastic since week 2
