1 Oregon Ducks Oregon is my number 1 team. They're undefeated. They have great wins over Ohio State (8-1) and Boise State (8-1)
2 BYU Cougars BYU I feel dirty ranking as number 2 because I think the Big12 refs cheated during their game against Utah to help them win. However, they remain undefeated and they have some very nice wins including over SMU (8-1) and Kansas State (7-2)
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 8-1 with a very close loss to Oregon. They have nice wins over Penn State (8-1) and Iowa (6-4)
4 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana is undefeated at 10-0. They lack the quality in their wins. Their best wins are over Washington (5-5) and Michigan (5-5). They have a week off before playing Ohio State. A win there would send them to the Big Ten championship game.
5 SMU Mustangs SMU is 8-1 with a close loss to BYU. They have nice wins over Pittsburgh (7-2), Louisville (6-3) and Duke (7-3)
6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is 8-1. They have a perplexing loss. They have nice wins over Texas A&M (7-2), Louisville (6-3) and Navy (7-2)
7 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee is 8-1. They have a loss to Arkansas. They have a really nice win over Alabama (7-2). Also have a win over Oklahoma (5-5)
8 Texas Longhorns Texas is 8-1. Their best wins are over Vanderbilt (6-4), Michigan (5-5), and Oklahoma (5-5).
9 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is my top 2 loss team. They probably have the best list of wins in the country with nice wins over Georgia (7-2), Missouri (7-2), South Carolina (6-3), LSU (6-3) and Wisconsin (5-4)
10 Miami Hurricanes Miami drops pretty far in my ranking after picking up their first loss. They are 9-1 with a loss to GT. They have a nice win over Louisville (6-3) and also a win over Duke (6-3)
11 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State is 8-1. They have wins over Illinois (6-3), Wisconsin (5-4) and Washington (5-5)
12 Boise State Broncos Boise State is 8-1 with a close loss to Oregon. Best wins are over Washington State (8-1) and UNLV (7-2)
13 Texas A&M Aggies Texas A&M is currently in first place in the SEC. They're 7-2 and have nice wins over Missouri (7-2), LSU (6-3) and Arkansas (5-4)
14 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is a hard team to rank. They have 2 losses but have a nice win over Georgia (7-2) and South Carolina (6-3). I think their wins are less impressive than Georgia's, but they did beat them head to head.
15 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is another very good 2 loss team. They have nice wins over Texas (8-1) and Clemson (7-2)
16 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas State is 7-2 but has good wins over Colorado (7-2), Tulane (8-2), and West Virginia (5-4)
17 LSU Tigers LSU is 6-3. They have wins over Ole Miss (8-2), South Carolina (6-3) and Arkansas (5-4)
18 Missouri Tigers Missouri is 7-2. Best wins are over Vanderbilt (6-4), Oklahoma (5-5), and Boston College (5-4)
19 Washington State Cougars Washington State is 8-1. Their only loss is to Boise State. They have a win over Texas Tech (6-4). Also beat San Jose State (6-3) and Washington (5-5)
20 Colorado Buffaloes Colorado is a weird team to rank. They control their own destiny to the playoffs, but I don't think they've beaten anyone good. They might just be a product of a big 12 schedule that avoids all the good teams. 0-1 against the top 7 in the big12. Best wins are probably Texas Tech (6-4) and Colorado State (6-3).
21 Army West Point Army is undefeated at 9-0 but their best wins are probably North Texas and East Carolina who are both 5-4 in the American.
22 Louisville Cardinals Louisville is 6-3 with a good win over Clemson (7-2). Also defeated Georgia Tech (6-4), Virginia (5-4) and Boston College (5-4)
23 South Carolina Gamecocks South Carolina is 6-3. They have nice wins over Texas A&M (7-2) and Vanderbilt (6-4). Big game next week vs Missouri.
24 Pittsburgh Panthers Pittsburgh is 7-2 with wins over Syracuse (6-3), West Virginia (5-4) and Cincinnati (5-4)
25 Clemson Tigers Clemson is 7-2 with wins over Virginia (5-4) and Virginia Tech (5-5)
