Overall Rationale: Hard to rank teams this early, imo week 5 is a good starting point. Try not to base on preseason ranks and other power or recruitment rankings just the product in the field. Teams that have played poor quality opponents early on dont fair well as those games don't tell us anything.

1 Texas Longhorns Beat the reigning national champions* easily
2 USC Trojans Solid win over Lsu, beat the pants of Utah state
3 Georgia Bulldogs Ceushed Clemson but, should probably be higher but choose to play some school no one has ever heard of so they drop a few spots. Plus failed to shut out said school.
4 Tennessee Volunteers Smoked NC state.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Struggled first half vs Akron but the next 3 halves they played have been absolutely domination
6 Alabama Crimson Tide Smoked WKU but struggle with USF before turning it up in 4th qrt
7 Miami Hurricanes Beat a bad Florida team easily, crushed Florida AM who is at least a decent FCS school
8 Oklahoma State Cowboys Struggled a bit with SDSU but beat them easily enough, beat Arkansas.
9 Utah Utes Win against Baylor, smoked southern Utah
10 Penn State Nittany Lions Beat WV, struggled with bowling green but a wins a win
11 Iowa State Cyclones Big win against Iowa this week, it wasn't pretty but a win on the road against a in state is enough.
12 Nebraska Cornhuskers Easily handled Colorado, Colorado doesn't seem particularly good but they are still a tough opponent
13 Ole Miss Rebels Idk, they are supposed to be good or something. Haven't played a team that would show that
14 Missouri Tigers Same as old miss, at least next week they play BC so we will see if they can give them a smack down.
15 Oregon Ducks Struggled with Idaho and Boise state, wins are wins tho and they are supposed to be good this year. Got the talent, just need to exacute.
16 Oklahoma Sooners Would be higher but Huston is terrible, that game was far to close for how bad they are.
17 Washington Huskies Low quality opponents but looked good doing it at least. Last year's runner up.
18 Arizona Wildcats Meh, didn't know where to put them. Don't get to watch them and they seem good but low quality opponents
19 Kansas State Wildcats Winning is good, haven't played anyone of note and it wasn't all that spectacular
20 Illinois Fighting Illini Beat Kansas this week, didn't look to bad either
21 Michigan Wolverines They lost to Texas, badly but don't want to be biased so I guess they still deserve a spot. Not the top 20 tho, losers don't deserve that.
22 Boston College Eagles FSU is fraudulent but they did win pretty easily. Red bandana night coming up, let's see if they start 3-0
23 Syracuse Orange Beat GT, nothing special but starting off undefeated
24 Vanderbilt Commodores They likely won't be here long but it's been awhile since vandy started 2-0
25 Northern Illinois Huskies Beat ND, I don't think this team is all that great but they deserve a spot after that win. Plus their coach is dope.
