Overall Rationale: I went to a birthday party for a 100 year old lady I’d never met. She was the sweetest thing, I asked her, “who you got after this weekend?” This is her list and rationale. Some of that story may not be 100% accurate

2 Texas Longhorns I hope they lose the next 10 games
3 Ohio State Buckeyes Improvement compared to last week’s performance so I’ll put them back up where they should be
4 Miami Hurricanes Cam Ward looks great, Miami are strong favorites for the ACC
5 Alabama Crimson Tide They escaped USF. For whatever reason the bulls have nearly had yalls number lately.
6 Ole Miss Rebels Jaxson Dart nearly elevates them ahead of Alabama
7 Utah Utes In fairness I haven’t seen anything from the Baylor game, but I am a bit shocked that Utah didn’t score in the second half.
8 USC Trojans Keep embarrassing Michigan next week bc that would be really funny and devalue a win by texas
9 Penn State Nittany Lions Yall dodged a bullet. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt this time. MAC came to play and yall barely survived.
10 Oregon Ducks Won a close one over a good Boise State team. But I still expect better
11 Tennessee Volunteers A bit less impressive of a win after what we saw last week but nonetheless Tennessee looked good
12 Missouri Tigers Mizzou will look to prove itself over the next two weeks with *checks notes* Boston College and Vanderbilt before *checks notes again* a nice easy stretch with A&M and UMass
13 Oklahoma Sooners I debated dropping them way down but the entire top 25 looked bad so yall were really just par for the course.
14 Kansas State Wildcats Made the comeback, I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt this week.
15 Louisville Cardinals Probably too high but someone has to be here
16 Boston College Eagles Shutting out the school I can’t pronounce isn’t super impressive but better than most this week
17 Arizona Wildcats Pretty shaky, though I know Northern AZ likes to cause yall issues randomly
18 Oklahoma State Cowboys Pulled out a W vs Arky. Looks like the third/fourth best XII team at the moment but I’ll enjoy it if they chaotically win
19 Vanderbilt Commodores ANCHOR 😤 DOWN 😤
20 LSU Tigers This is more a function that everyone else looked just as bad if not worse than reflective of how yall struggled
21 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Rutgers and Indiana have looked good against cupcakes. I’m looking forwards to seeing next week to calibrate Rutgers vs Vanderbilt in the natty at the end of the season.
22 Clemson Tigers Maybe Georgia is just really good
23 California Golden Bears Not really sure who to put here but I do not agree with the AP putting Nebraska here after beating a bad Colorado. So here’s a decent Cal who beat a serviceable Auburn
24 Northern Illinois Huskies MACtion looks like it should be tight this year good luck huskies
25 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Remember last week when everyone had yall as playoff favorites after beating A&M? Good times.
