Overall Rationale: Each week, i start from scratch and rank teams based on their resumes so far this year. Early in the season this can result in some odd rankings as teams that have early losses or haven't played a tough opponent will not appear as high as others. Over the season, it starts to look more like the rest of the field.

1 Texas Longhorns Texas takes my number 1 spot after a dominant win on the road at Michigan, the best win so far early this season. (other best win candidates include Georgia over Clemson and Northern Illinois over Notre Dame) They are 2-0.
2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 2-0 with a very nice win over Clemson.
3 USC Trojans USC is 2-0 with a very nice win over LSU.
4 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee jumps bigtime in my poll after a completely dominant performance against North Carolina State. They are 2-0.
5 Northern Illinois Huskies Northern Illinois is 2-0 with a road win over Notre Dame (1-1, win over Texas A&M)
6 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 2-0 with a win at Florida.
7 Iowa State Cyclones Iowa State is 2-0 with a nice win on the road at Iowa.
8 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State is 2-0 with a nice win at West Virginia.
9 California Golden Bears California is 2-0 with a nice win on the road at Auburn.
10 Syracuse Orange Syracuse is 2-0 with a nice win over Georgia Tech (2-1).
11 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State moves to 2-0 with a nice win over Arkansas.
12 Illinois Fighting Illini Illinois is 2-0 with a nice win over Kansas.
13 South Carolina Gamecocks South Carolina is 2-0 with a win over Kentucky
14 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska is 2-0 with a dominant win over Colorado.
15 Vanderbilt Commodores Vanderbilt is 2-0 with a win over Virginia Tech (1-1)

25 Boston College Eagles Boston College is 2-0 with a win over Florida State. I also debated UNLV and Oregon for this spot. UNLV has a win over Houston (so does Oklahoma, but UNLV was more dominant). Oregon has a win over Boise State. I generally lean towards higher values on power 4 wins early in the season, so I'm going to give the nod to BC for now.
