Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Georgia Bulldogs | Probably closer then they would've liked against Tech but the Bulldogs are now one win away from a second straight #1 cfb appearance. Hopefully for the dawgs this isn't a repeat of 2021 and they let Alabama sneak in. This looks by far like the best team in CFB |
| Michigan Wolverines | No Harbaugh, No Problem. Michigan takes care of business for the third straight year. Now let's see if Harbaugh can finally win a playoff game. Or maybe lose to Iowa and cause chaos because why not |
| Washington Huskies | The Huskies keep winning close and I'm very nervous for this team's chances in the Oregon rematch. Oregon looks much better and the Huskies looks a little worse. I still think it will come down to the wire, but they'll need to flip the script and start playing their best ball again this Friday or else the magical season for the Huskies will come up just short. |
| Florida State Seminoles | The Noles are one win away from punching their ticket to the CFB playoff despite losing their star man. I'm not sure if this is still a playoff team after the Florida game, they didn't play great but also Florida is better than their record. I'm rooting for you guys regardless, do it for Jordan |
| Oregon Ducks | If they didn't lose to the Huskies, we would definitely be having debates about wether this is the best team in the country. The Ducks are hot hot hot blowing out your rival that the Huskies only barely beat. If I'm an Oregon fan, I'm very excited for the rematch, but don't underestimate the Huskies. It already happened once. Regardless, win and your in and you have an excellent chance at that elusive title Oregon has been chasing |
| Texas Longhorns | Hopefully this isn't a what if season for Texas, but it's looking more and more likely. The Oklahoma loss is really haunting them. This is a good football team, and they'll have a good shot at getting in if they beat Ok St. The easiest path is FSU losing. A Georgia loss could also work but that invites the committee to play the SEC as favorites, which they love to do. All Texas can hope is that this magical season was not all for naught |
| Ohio State Buckeyes | Welp, it happened again. Day fixed the defense but the offense faltered when it mattered most. Anyone calling for his head is an idiot. Luckily there is still a path for the buckeyes, but a lot of losing ahead of them is needed. They've had championship caliber teams the past few years, just keep running into an M shaped hump. |
| Alabama Crimson Tide | One Day the CIA is gonna release a report revealing that Auburn isn't real and it's been a CyOp this whole time. The Iron Bowl lived up to its history and then some. How in the ever loving fuck does Alabama keep pulling these out of their ass. Regardless, the Tide are still alive for the playoffs and if the Iron Bowl is any indication, they'll probably get in because Saban is the antichrist. |
| Missouri Tigers | Really trying to help Arkansas fans out and get Pittman fired eh? A magical season for the tigers. Cannot wait to see them play this bowl season. |
| Penn State Nittany Lions | The death of divisions is both a blessing and a curse for the Nittany lions. Sure now they might be able to sneak into the B10 champs without playing Mich/Oh St but also now they have to play Oregon, Wash, UCLA and USC instead. It's a lot tougher world out there now, better hope Franklin and his new OC can win the big ones. |
| Oklahoma Sooners | Up and Down, Up and Down. A final send off to the B12 with a callback to the Lincoln Riley era and a nice scorigami to go along with it. One BYU fumble away from playing in the conference championship. The Sooners were close this season, gonna have to be closer in the SEC |
| Ole Miss Rebels | The egg bowl does weird things. Ole Miss forgets how to play offense, but somehow remember how to play defense. Is Lane Kiffin the Franklin of the SEC? Maybe, but I think that's much more tolerable for the rebels. He might only be there until Saban retires, but it looks like Lane is Ole Miss property... for now. |
| Louisville Cardinals | Heartbreak at the end of the season for the cards. Would've been perfect to beat Kentucky in this amazing season, but now another bad loss haunts them. Regardless, the Chaos Cards have one last opportunity to leave their mark on the season by denying FSU a playoff berth, securing the Card's first ACC championship. Might just make up for the loss |
| Tulane Green Wave | Tulane defense dominates against a good UTSA team. The AAC championship is now officially a ranked matchup and it will be a good one. Liberty is breathing down their neck for that G5 championship, but a win against a very good SMU team will be the last feather in their cap for the title. |
| Liberty Flames | Perfect, perfect, perfect. The Flames can't seem to lose. One more win and a Tulane loss and this team is getting a very good bowl game. |
| Arizona Wildcats | Oregon St couldn't deliver but the Wildcats have had a great season regardless. I cannot wait to see this team in the new b12. It's an open race for the title |
| LSU Tigers | Every week I'm still mad at Brian Kelly for falling to make an even remotely competent defense. The Heisman race is gonna be close, but if I'm Daniels I feel good about my chances |
| Notre Dame Fighting Irish | The offense figured itself out a few weeks too late. A lost season for the Fighting Irish, but maybe they'll find another transfer QB to get their hopes up again |
| Iowa Hawkeyes | I hate this team. Go beat Michigan and achieve your crown you sickos |
| Toledo Rockets | I bet on this Rockets team and have not been disappointed. In a conference that can have a lot of variability, the Rockets have rolled on. |
| James Madison Dukes | The Dukes are going bowling!!!!!!! At last we never have to hear about the team that should've made a bowl. Still robbed of a G5 championship, but I think the Dukes will take what they can get |
| Oklahoma State Cowboys | Ok St will either beat Texas in 7OT or lose by 70. I have spoken |
| NC State Wolfpack | A quietly good season for the Wolfpack. Everyone was debating if Duke or NC was the best Carolina school and then NC State comes in to ruin their fun. Go Wolfpack |
| SMU Mustangs | SMU looking very well set up for their ACC arrival next year. At least they best of the new three, though I doubt the Frisco schools will be much competition |
| Oregon State Beavers | A sad end to an almost season for the Beaves. The future doesn't look bright for the Beavers, but all of America is rooting for you. I wish you the best Beavers, you guys deserve it |
