3 Washington Huskies Well fought win against Oregon catapults Washington up the polls. Up next, a match-up against a lost ASU.
4 Ohio State Buckeyes Still taking care of business, this time against Purdue. Up next #2 Penn State to clarify the B1G race.
5 Florida State Seminoles Looked dominant once again against a collapsing Syracuse. Up next another massive match-up against #11 Duke at home for the ACC. Rip 'em up, tear 'em up, give 'em hell Duke!
6 Michigan Wolverines Taking care of business against Indiana and looking ever more like an unstoppable machine. Up next another easy win against a dead in the water Michigan State.
7 Georgia Bulldogs An impressive showing by Vanderbilt put Georgia in a tough spot their talent could dig them out of. Still, Vandy is one of the worst teams my model has and Georgia has yet to face anyone (Kentucky fallen). Georgia is held down by poor resume.
8 Air Force Falcons Impressive win against Wyoming catapults Air Force further up. So underrated, and so beautiful watching how football is supposed to be (the forward pass was a mistake). Up next, an armed forces match-up against Navy.
9 James Madison Dukes Still undefeated, still unable to participate in post-season.
10 Miami (OH) RedHawks Still worst loss is to Miami (FL). For some reason the model likes this still and really likes the declining quality of the Cinci win. In my opinion a bit too high now, may have to adjust down if this continues.
11 Duke Blue Devils A solid victory with back-up QB Henry Belin IV shows the defensive muscle while showing something on offense. Offense remains the weak spot for this squad. Up next, #5 FSU at their place. We'll sing for the blue and white whose colors we uphold.
12 Texas Longhorns After rest, Texas stays alright. Up next Houston.
13 Oregon State Beavers Impressive wins against #22 Utah and UCLA have Oregon State up and happy.
14 UNLV Rebels UNLV has my model stumped, a loss closer than it should have been against Michigan and an undefeated power against the rest has UNLV sitting as one of the best single loss.
15 Oregon Ducks A close loss against Washington sends Oregon a little bit down.
16 Liberty Flames These guys are here because they are undefeated... their SOS is so bad.
17 North Carolina Tar Heels The App State failure continues to plague UNC's ability to climb. My model hates them more than I. GTHC.
18 Iowa Hawkeyes Offense is overrated for the Hawkeyes who continue to grind through against teams after laying an egg against Penn State. Up next the Floyd of Rosedale.
19 Alabama Crimson Tide Another near collapse by the Crimson Tide. Up next, hate week against the #25 Vols.
20 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss sits happy. Up next Auburn.
21 Tulane Green Wave Tulane is back in after a solid win over Memphis, showing that Tulane is still a contender.
22 Utah Utes A bounce back win with substantial offense against Cal gives Utah some much needed hope.
23 Missouri Tigers Mizzou looks good again after beating the other 2nd-4th of division SEC team, Kentucky.
24 Fresno State Bulldogs Climb back in after doing enough. A loss to Wyoming is never bad.
25 Tennessee Volunteers The Vols looked atrocious in their win over TAMU, but came out on top enough to win again and climb back in. Up next #19 Alabama in a classic SEC rivalry.
