1 Georgia Bulldogs Until they lose, they’re top Dawgs.
2 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is the most complete team in the country. The only thing holding them back is Georgia’s champion’s advantage and their incredibly weak schedule.
3 Ohio State Buckeyes They did what they were supposed to do. Penn State will be an awesome game.
4 Washington Huskies What. A. Game. It wasn’t pretty, but Washington comes out on top and looks great entering the second half.
5 Penn State Nittany Lions As a student at UMass’s arch-rival, I wanted to see a little more out of Penn State. Why score 63 when you could have scored 83?
6 Oklahoma Sooners Moved up thanks to Oregon
7 Oregon Ducks Lost a game no team deserved to lose and the hard part of the schedule is fast approaching. The Ducks might have some problems on their hands.
8 Florida State Seminoles Duke is going to be an interesting game.
9 Texas Longhorns They’re going to be fine.
10 North Carolina Tar Heels UNC sealed Miami’s fate. A few easy weeks coming up so nowhere to go but up.
11 Alabama Crimson Tide Arkansas is not a bad team, they just have an insane schedule. That being said, Alabama shot themselves in the foot constantly.
12 Oregon State Beavers That loss to Wazzu might have been a fluke. Oregon State might be dangerous.
13 Ole Miss Rebels They only move down because Oregon State moved up.
14 Utah Utes Next week could be a huge week for the Utes.
15 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame bounces back in a big way, but that Louisville loss is still a head scratcher.
16 Tennessee Volunteers I’m higher on A&M than most, but that should have been a much bigger win. They get a boost thanks to bad losses by teams above them.
17 Duke Blue Devils Solid win over NC State. Next week is going to be a big test, though.
18 USC Trojans I knew USC was overrated but good God that was ugly.
19 LSU Tigers They did what Georgia was supposed to do against Auburn.
20 Missouri Tigers Mizzou is going to be 8-1 going into Georgia. You heard it here first, folks!
21 Air Force Falcons Welcome back, Falcons. Wyoming was a solid win and their remaining schedule looks like their might be some staying power.
22 Louisville Cardinals How do you go from beating Notre Dame to losing to 1-4 Pitt? They have a bye, but Duke could be a challenge.
23 UCLA Bruins Oregon State is a good team so that loss won’t hurt them too bad.
24 Iowa Hawkeyes I had Iowa dead to rights after the Penn State loss. I still do, but I think they’re a little better than JMU
25 Tulane Green Wave Tulane is a good team in a bad conference. They just have to keep winning and they can stay in the Top 25.
