1 Georgia Bulldogs Another win, but the Bowers injury situation has to be concerning.
2 Michigan Wolverines Indiana is the latest drowned ferret. Maybe on pure resume Michigan shouldn't be as high but they keep taking care of business at a pace I can't punish them for.
3 Oklahoma Sooners Bye week probably made the AP forget about the Sooners, but they're still here.
4 Washington Huskies Instant classic with their PNW rival. Penix is firmly in the Heisman race now too.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes No Spoilermaker voodoo this time. And now a test against Penn State awaits.
6 Florida State Seminoles Took care of business against Cuse, and now a spicy game with Duke awaits.
7 Penn State Nittany Lions They've taken care of business so far, but fairly or unfairly this team will be judged on what they do against Ohio State and Michigan. That first step comes this weekend.
8 North Carolina Tar Heels Moved them up because they are one of the 8 P5 undefeateds and they deserve that respect. This does feel like Mack Brown's best chance to grab an ACC title for Chapel Hill.
9 Texas Longhorns Bye week let them get passed. Still, despite the heartbreak last week the Horns' goals are all still ahead of them.
10 Oregon Ducks Still a top 10 team, and if things go different maybe they pulled it out. Still, everything is in front of them.
11 Alabama Crimson Tide Moved them down due to them being passed. I do not feel inspired by this year's Tide after that Arkansas game but they keep racking up more wins than not.
12 Oregon State Beavers Great win over UCLA, and everything is still in front of them.
13 Ole Miss Rebels Idle this week, but helped by teams faltering.
14 Utah Utes Solid win over California.
15 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Great win over USC. Definitely the victims of a tough schedule but they are the best 2 loss team in the country.
16 Duke Blue Devils Can't knock a team beating a P5 foe with their backup QB throwing 4 completions. Credit to Elko for mastering the Dark Arts of Football too.
17 USC Trojans And the slide begins. Have to think Lincoln is sending resumes to NFL teams at this point.
18 LSU Tigers With enough chaos I'm comfortable ranking LSU again. Really impressive win over Auburn.
19 Missouri Tigers Solid win over Kentucky. And now a reeling South Carolina team awaits.
20 Louisville Cardinals Louisville... How do you follow up a possible program defining win over Notre Dame with doing THAT against Pitt?
21 Tennessee Volunteers They've lowkey rebounded nicely from that defeat in the Swamp
22 Air Force Falcons Huge win over Wyoming, and now the Falcons are in the pilot's seat for the G5 NY6 berth. Will they live in fame, or go down in flame?
23 James Madison Dukes Shoutout to the other G5 undefeated. Hopefully the NCAA can waive some rules. But of course, if men were angels no government would be necessary.
24 UCLA Bruins Probably one of the better 2 loss teams. Still, tough loss against Oregon State.
25 Iowa Hawkeyes I feel nasty and absolutely disgusted giving Iowa a rank. They are in the driver's seat to win the Big Ten West. Gross. Ew.
