Ballot Type: Human

Rank Team Reason
Georgia Bulldogs At this point I’m convinced Georgia really only wants to show up for the big games, like Kentucky last weekend. The bye comes at a really good time because of the Brock Bowers ankle sprain.
Ohio State Buckeyes This is the first time Ohio State looked like the Ohio State we got used to. Huge game against Penn State this weekend
Washington Huskies Washington won one of the best games of the year and Penix has to be the Heisman favorite now.
Florida State Seminoles FSU came back from the bye with an easy win over Syracuse. Big one against Duke coming up.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan started slow but blew out Indiana. Michigan is damn good but hindered by their schedule.
Oklahoma Sooners OU was on a bye but won anyways after seeing Lincoln Riley’s USC get embarrassed.
Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State cruised to an easy win over UMass but have a huge one against Ohio State this weekend. We’ll see if PSU can finally get over the hump
Texas Longhorns Texas was on bye
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama held on against Arkansas but that offense is still a major concern. The Tide still feel like they’re due another loss and it could happen against Tennessee
Oregon Ducks Oregon lost a really really close one to Washington where some coaching decisions may have cost them the game. The Ducks looked like a really good team, just not as good as Washington. Not gonna fall far.
Oregon State Beavers Oregon State is finding a groove. Watch out for the Beavers to make some serious noise at the top of the PAC
North Carolina Tar Heels UNC might be underrated, and that’s a solid Miami team they beat. I just don’t trust them.
Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss was on a bye
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame impressed with a blowout win over USC and not only ended Caleb Williams’ Heisman campaign but loosened his grip on the first overall pick in the NFL draft.
Duke Blue Devils Duke took care of NC State easily but eyes ahead to a road game against FSU, possibly without Leonard.
Utah Utes Utah looked arguably their best this season against Cal. Now Utah gets into the meat of the schedule and are up against USC next
Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee looked outplayed at times by A&M but still won because Jimbo. They’ll need to play better to beat Alabama
Air Force Falcons AFA beat Wyoming and thus took the lead in not just the MWC race but the G5’s NY6 spot race. They shouldn’t have any issues against Navy.
USC Trojans It felt like a long time coming for USC. The offense sputtered hard and the defense couldn’t step up when needed. Things only continue to stay tough for USC who is entering a danger zone.
LSU Tigers LSU played one of their best games against Auburn and now get to piss off America by beating Army.
Missouri Tigers Missouri never left my rankings, and I couldn’t understand why the AP dropped them but kept Kentucky. Mizzou showed why I was right.
Louisville Cardinals Talk about a letdown. One week after impressing in a win over Notre Dame, Louisville lost to hapless Pitt. That’s bad.
Tulane Green Wave Tulane is quietly still winning and won a big one on the road at Memphis, and they have a firm grip on a AAC title game appearance.
James Madison Dukes Put JMU in a bowl goddamit
UCLA Bruins I don’t know how to feel about UCLA. There’s some talent, but there’s also some clear flaws. UCLA is very good but clearly a tier behind the top of the PAC
