cfbpeoplespoll Ballot for 2023 Week 6

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 1, 2023, 10:09 a.m.

Overall Rationale: First week of going off of the pre/early season hybrid methodology I was using. Rankings now will be based on results against other teams and the performances of the teams.

Rank Team Reason
Texas Longhorns Best performances so far, have taken care of business against solid teams like Alabama, Kansas and Wyoming
Georgia Bulldogs Haven’t won convincingly but are still undefeated. Brock Bowers is still a problem and they have shown the ability to come from behind two weeks in a row.
Michigan Wolverines Went on the road and put up big numbers against an underrated Neb defense.
Ohio State Buckeyes
Florida State Seminoles
Penn State Nittany Lions
USC Trojans Held in barely against a alright Colorado team. The defense is going to be a huge issue this season if they cannot figure it out.
Oregon Ducks
Washington Huskies
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Great gritty win on the road against Duke in a hostile environment. Sam Hartman may have found something in his performance this week.
North Carolina Tar Heels
Alabama Crimson Tide
Oklahoma Sooners
Washington State Cougars
Miami Hurricanes
Oregon State Beavers
Ole Miss Rebels
Duke Blue Devils
Utah Utes Lots of questions on offense preventing a great defense from carrying them to wins.
Kentucky Wildcats Quiet undefeated start to the season. Duke is a solid team and should be 2nd-4th best in the division at the end of the year.
Fresno State Bulldogs
Maryland Terrapins Big test against Ohio State this week will show how real Maryland is. My polling has liked them all season.
Missouri Tigers
LSU Tigers
Louisville Cardinals Next 10: 26 - Kansas 27 - Tulane 28 - Tennessee 29 - Wisconsin 30 - Kansas State 31 - Texas A&M 32 - Colorado 33 - Florida 34 - Air Force 35 - Clemson
