Overall Rationale: Each week I recreate my poll based on resumes so far this season. It can look a little funky early on because I'll heavily favor teams that have played and beat quality competition. Sometimes teams that are highly rated in the AP poll are left off or very low because they haven't played good competition. As the season moves on, it starts to look more like everyone else's.

2 Utah Utes Utah is 4-0 with wins over Florida (3-1) and UCLA (3-1)
3 Washington State Cougars Washington State is 4-0 with wins over Wisconsin (3-1) and Oregon State (3-1)
4 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State is 4-0 with wins over Iowa (3-1) and West Virginia (3-1)
5 Texas Longhorns Texas is 4-0 with a very nice win at Alabama. (3-1)
6 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 4-0 with a very nice win at Notre Dame. (4-1)
7 Oregon Ducks Oregon is 4-0 with a blowout win over Colorado (3-1)
8 Missouri Tigers Missouri is 4-0 with wins over Kansas State (3-1) and Memphis (3-1)
9 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 4-0 with a nice win over Texas A&M (3-1)
10 Kansas Jayhawks Kansas is 4-0 with wins over BYU (3-1) and Illinois (2-2)
11 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is 4-0 with a win over Rutgers (3-1)
12 Duke Blue Devils Duke is 4-0 with a win over Clemson. Big chance to move up more again this week with a game against Notre Dame.
13 North Carolina Tar Heels North Carolina is 4-0 with wins over South Carolina (2-2), Minnesota (2-2) and Pitt.
14 Washington Huskies Washington is 4-0 with wins over Michigan State (2-2) and Cal (2-2)
15 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 4-0. Best win is over South Carolina (2-2)
16 Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma is 4-0 with their best win over Cincinnati (2-2)
17 Maryland Terrapins Maryland is 4-0 with a win over Michigan State (2-2)
18 USC Trojans USC is 4-0 and is dominating. Best win is over Stanford (1-3). Play Colorado (3-1) this week.
19 Louisville Cardinals Louisville is 4-0 but their best win is probably Indiana. Got some chances to prove themselves in upcoming weeks with NC State (3-1) and Notre Dame (4-1)
20 Kentucky Wildcats Kentucky is 4-0 but best win is over Vanderbilt (2-3)
21 Syracuse Orange Syracuse is 4-0 but their best win is over Purdue (1-3).
22 Florida Gators Florida is 3-1 and one of my top ranked 1 loss teams thanks to their win over Tennessee (3-1). Loss to Utah (4-0)
23 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 3-1 and my top ranked 1 loss team thanks to their win over Ole Miss (3-1). Loss to Texas (4-0)
24 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is 4-1 with a loss to Ohio State (4-0) and a win over NC State (3-1). Chance to move back up my rankings this week with a game against Duke (4-0)
25 Fresno State Bulldogs Fresno State is 4-0 and has a couple of P5 wins but those wins are over 1-3 Purdue and 1-3 Arizona State
