Overall Rationale: Lots of movement early in the season. This week I continue to omit teams with a loss, as there are many undefeated teams who better merit recognition on my ballot. Notre Dame, Alabama, or Oregon State may be among the 25 teams favored on a neutral site against anyone else in the country, but do not appear in my ballot this week. Instead I highlight some programs that have had strong early season performances that I consider worthy of down-ballot recognition. I remain less sold on some teams and conferences than many others are, and that is also reflected in my ballot submission.
