1 Duke Blue Devils My Blue Devils continue their march by beating UConn 41-7 in a beat down at their place. Although there were some good signs, especially on defense, the inability to suddenly explode down the field worries me. After a bit of a down part in the schedule, we will be tested against an angry (#36 in my ranking) Notre Dame at Wallace Wade.
2 Oregon Ducks Dominant victory over the overrated 2nd placer before allows them to claim the spot. Fun times in the Pac-12!
3 Kansas Jayhawks Solid victory over BYU propels them up to the top.
4 Georgia State Panthers Really likes this team for some reason. Rough to keep it up, but we will see.
5 Penn State Nittany Lions Absolutely abolished the concept that is Brian Ferentz offense. Dominant and absolutely deserving of this spot.
6 Washington State Cougars Probably a little too high, but that is okay. Great performance against Oregon State.
7 Michigan Wolverines Solid win over a Rutgers squad. This is the real murderball team, deserving of where they are.
8 Florida State Seminoles Shaky team away makes me feel better about our chances, but sadly Duke plays at their place. Either way seems about right.
9 Ohio State Buckeyes Probably a bit low after a statement win against Notre Dame, but it is more about other teams moving up more.
10 Texas Longhorns Baylor is nobody and my model does not bias for Alabama. Still 4-0 against solid teams allows a cling to the top 10.
11 Utah Utes Will the Utes over see Cam Rising, or will Red Iowa be the new truth? Only time will tell after a disturbing 14-7 victory over UCLA.
12 USC Trojans Almost upset by ASU by my model doesn't really care about that. Still this seems about right to me.
13 Oklahoma Sooners Solid wins continue for the Sooners.
14 Miami Hurricanes See #13.
15 Washington Huskies Underrated as heck. If I did this ranking on my own, Huskies to the moon.
16 Syracuse Orange Untested like last year, to be seen.
17 Liberty Flames Overrated, but that is okay. Let's see what they do.
18 Maryland Terrapins Sneaky good teams, probably belongs here.
19 Air Force Falcons Definitely belongs here, amazing game to watch.
20 Georgia Bulldogs Playing a team with a pulse might help the resume of Georgia, but honestly I just see them as one of several Top 10 contenders until they really show something different. Giving up 28 against UAB seems a little weird to me.
21 Kentucky Wildcats Meh wins.
22 James Madison Dukes Why is JMU still disqualified?
23 Louisville Cardinals Hanging around.
24 Missouri Tigers Dividends paid after another great win.
25 North Carolina Tar Heels Solid performance over Pitt gets them to climb in.
