1 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee is my #1 team. They have very nice wins over Alabama (7-1), LSU (6-2), and Kentucky (5-3). Huge matchup with Georgia next week.
2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 8-0. Their win over Oregon (7-1) remains super impressive. They also have a nice win over South Carolina (5-3). They play Tennessee next week and could reclaim their spot on the top of my rankings.
3 Clemson Tigers Clemson is 8-0. Their resume took a bit of a shot this week with some losses to their best wins, but they still have solid wins over Syracuse (6-2), Wake Forest (6-2), North Carolina State (6-2), and Florida State (5-3)
4 TCU Horned Frogs TCU is 8-0 with wins over Oklahoma State (6-2), Kansas State (6-2), Oklahoma (5-3), and Kansas (5-3).
5 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is 8-0. They have wins over Penn State (6-2) and Maryland (6-2).
6 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 8-0. They picked up a nice win over Penn State (6-2) this weekend. Their win over Notre Dame (5-3) is also looking better.
7 Oregon Ducks Oregon is 7-1. They have a tough loss to Georgia but have a nice win over UCLA (7-1).
8 UCLA Bruins UCLA is 7-1. They have a loss to Oregon, but have nice wins over Utah (6-2) and Washington (6-2)
9 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 7-1 with a loss to Tennessee. Their best wins are over Arkansas (5-3), Mississippi State (5-3), and Texas (5-3). They have some big chances to get nice wins coming up with games against LSU and Ole Miss in the next couple weeks.
10 USC Trojans USC is 7-1. They have a loss to Utah. Their best wins are over Oregon State (6-2) and Washington State (4-4).
11 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss is 8-1. Their best win is over Kentucky (5-3). They play Alabama in 2 weeks and we will find out where they belong.
12 Illinois Fighting Illini Illinois is 7-1 with a bad loss to Indiana. Their best win is over Minnesota (5-3). They have a pretty soft schedule this year so despite the great record, I dont have them that high. They do play Michigan later with a chance to prove they belong higher.
13 North Carolina Tar Heels North Carolina is 7-1 with a loss to Notre Dame. Their best wins are over Duke (5-3) and Pitt (4-4). They play Wake forest and NC state still this year and can move up with wins over those teams.
14 Tulane Green Wave Tulane is 7-1 with a very good win over Kansas State (6-2). They also have wins over Eastern Carolina (6-3) and Houston (5-3).
15 LSU Tigers LSU is 6-2 with a very nice win over Ole Miss (8-1) and a win over Mississippi State (5-3). They play Alabama next week and have a big chance to move up.
16 Utah Utes Utah is 6-2. They have nice wins over USC (7-1) and Oregon State (6-2)
17 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas State is 6-2 with losses to TCU and Tulane. They have nice wins over Oklahoma State (6-2) and Oklahoma (5-3).
18 Syracuse Orange Syracuse is 6-2 with losses to Clemson and Notre Dame. They have nice wins over North Carolina state (6-2), Purdue (5-3), and Louisville (5-3).
19 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State is 6-2. They have wins over Texas (5-3) and Baylor (5-3).
20 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State is 6-2. They have nice wins over Purdue (5-3) and Minnesota (5-3).
21 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wake Forest is 6-2 with a nice win over Florida State (5-3).
22 NC State Wolfpack NC State is 6-2. They have nice wins over Florida State (5-3) and Eastern Carolina (6-3)
23 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is weird. They are 5-3 with really bad losses but some nice wins. Best wins are over North Carolina (7-1) and Syracuse (6-2)
24 Oregon State Beavers Oregon State is 6-2. Their best win is probably Boise State (6-2). They play Washington next week and can prove they belong.
25 Florida State Seminoles Florida State is 5-3. Best win is over LSU (6-2)
