Overall Rationale: Record was my starting point. Then I took a look at how many wins each team has against currently ranked opponents. Then I took a look at the margins of those games and what ranking those teams that they won against are. After that, I look at how many unranked losses each team has and the margin of loss in those games. Basically, it was a tiebreaker system. Now obviously if it was purely with record as the starting point, the teams would all be ordered by record and a team such as Tulane would be ahead of a lot of teams. That’s why there’s human judgement calls involved in regards to a balance of ranked wins and losses.
