1 Alabama Crimson Tide While Alabama stays #1 until someone beats them, Florida showed that they might be beatable. The Ole Miss and Texas A&M games coming up will be heavily hyped
2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia handled South Carolina easily
3 Oregon Ducks Week 3 just ended and Oregon is the only undefeated Pac 12 team. They start conference play next weekend against Arizona, who just lost to an FCS team
4 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati had a slow start against Indiana, but had a solid 38-24 victory. They get a bye week then will face Notre Dame.
5 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa handled Kent State with ease. They play Colorado State next weekend before diving into conference play.
6 Penn State Nittany Lions Auburn kept the game close, but Penn State rode the wave of the whiteout environment and beat Auburn 28-20
7 Texas A&M Aggies After beating the Lobos 34-0, Texas A&M will face fellow undefeated SEC team Arkansas next weekend
8 Florida Gators Florida showed they can compete with the best with a close game against #1 Alabama. Maybe they might have won without gameclock issues at the end of the game? Not really though
9 Ohio State Buckeyes Despite the final score, Ohio State's game against Tulsa was much closer than it seemed. Unless an Ohio State makes adjustments, I'm not sure how they make it through conference play unscathed.
10 BYU Cougars BYU is on a roll, beating three Pac 12 opponents in a row, two of which were ranked at the time. Despite having one of the lowest returning production percentages in all FBS, BYU doesn't seem to have missed a beat
11 Arkansas Razorbacks Arkansas easily handled GA Southern, but face a real test against Texas A&M this weekend
12 Oklahoma Sooners Although 3-0, Oklahoma has had close games against Tulane and Nebraska. I'm not sure they make it through conference play without multiple losses
13 Clemson Tigers Clemson had a game come to the wire against... Georgia Tech?! Reminder: Clemson beat GA Tech 73-7 last year. The QB transition is not going as smooth as Clemson would have hoped
14 Notre Dame Fighting Irish After a series of close games to start the season, Notre Dame had a convincing win over Purdue. Turns out the drum drama didn't curse them
15 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss handled Tulane, who took Oklahoma to the wire, easily in a 61-21 victory. Ole Miss gets a bye week before facing #1 Alabama
16 Boston College Eagles Despite losing their starter QB to injury, BC beat Temple easily in a 28-3 victory. Their schedule rapidly ramps up with Missouri, Clemson, and NC State in the next three weeks
17 Liberty Flames Liberty has been blessed with an easy start to their 2021 schedule. They finally face a P5 opponent this weekend with a game against Syracuse
18 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers CC keeps rolling, though not in an especially convincing win over Buffalo. As I'm sure lots of people suspected, them and South Alabama are the only two remaining undefeated teams in the Sunbelt. CC has an easy three weeks bfore facing App State
19 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Rutgers strolled to 3-0 with a win over solid FCS team Delaware. Rutgers faces Michigan next weekend and Ohio State the following. These two games will show if Rutgers has what it takes
20 Michigan Wolverines After a win over NIU, Michigan now has the #1 average scoring margin in FBS (~35.7 pts). They begin conference play this weekend against Rutgers.
21 Kansas State Wildcats The wildcats ended ended Nevada's hopes for an undefeated season in a 38-17 victory. They face fellow 3-0 team Oklahoma State this weekend.
22 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State squeaked by Boise State on the blue turf to stay undefeated. They enter conference play this weekend.
23 Michigan State Spartans MI State rolled past Miami
24 San Diego State Aztecs SDSU has two Pac 12 wins after an OT win against Utah on Saturday. They play an FCS team before starting conference play the following week
25 Army West Point While Army has an easy schedule to begin the year, they have looked solid against it. They face two MAC teams before playing Wisconsin in mid-October
