Overall Rationale: Oklahoma I believe is overrated, they stumbled a little bit too much at the beginning of last season for me to justify a top 4 ranking coming into the year.Utah I believe is an under the radar threat for a NY6 birth. If Brewer figures out how to play consistently at QB Utah will be a tough team to beat. Offense was a dud last year under their previous transfer QB. But had a fantastic defense.TCU is another team that will have a fantastic defense, and will rely on their QB to take a step forward to be a formidable team. But all of the other pieces are there. Zach Evans at RB is looking to be a stud in the making.I had trouble ranking teams that are expected to play well this year, but were kind of dud teams last year. Oregon, Texas, LSU, Miami, etc.For Miami specifically, they proved they could beat up on lesser teams, but not much more than that. Getting blown out by any team with superior talent, and having a narrow loss to an OkState team that is less talented. They have potential, they just need to realize it.If it wasn't for the investigation, ASU might be my pick to win the Pac-12. Loaded defense, and a great QB. They'll need their WRs and OL to take a big step forward though this year if they want to compete at that level. I believe the #19 spot is fair considering the questions they have, yet the potential they may reach.Washington and Louisiana were the two closest schools that were left out. Louisiana was mores just a case of too many teams that I thought higher of than them. Washington was more deliberate, as I believe the talent is there, I just don't see the coaching and on field production following under a questionable staff. We'll see week 2 when they go on the road to play Michigan wether Jimmy Lake can get the most out of his talent or not.
