1 Alabama Crimson Tide  They will stick here at #1 until someone else earns it over them.
2 Oklahoma Sooners They were #2 in my postseason poll, and this offseason they’ve solidified that spot
3 Georgia Bulldogs Returning their QB and all the talent they are gives them the benefit of the doubt over the following teams
4 Clemson Tigers Very consistent, but a new QB is always a ?
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Again, hard to bet against them, but a new QB could make things interesting
6 Cincinnati Bearcats Let’s see if they can capitalize on their schedule with Indiana and ND on it.
7 Texas A&M Aggies New QB, but they return a lot of talent. I’m not sure they challenge Alabama, but they should be great
8 North Carolina Tar Heels Sam Howell is a PROBLEM. UNC dodges Clemson but faces Notre Dame this year. CFP expectations this year
9 Florida Gators  I don’t think there will be much of a drop off on offense with Emory Jones leading the way
10 Wisconsin Badgers They seem to be the frontrunner for their division. Big game vs PSU to start.
11 Iowa State Cyclones Purdy and company have their sights set on the CFP. I’m not convinced they’ll achieve those goals
12 Penn State Nittany Lions They had a disappointing Covid season, but could be contenders in the B1G
13 USC Trojans Are Slovis and Clay finally ready for a true breakout season?
14 Boston College Eagles  Jurkovec will be one of the best QBs in the ACC and they have a moderate schedule. BC will be good
15 Notre Dame Fighting Irish They lose Book and a lot of other talent. I expect a step down from last season for the Irish
16 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Grayson McCall is great and they keep a lot of talent around him. Easy Schedule
17 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns If they can beat Texas they’ll set themselves up for what could be a NY6 season
18 Indiana Hoosiers  If Penix can still play after his injury the same way he could before Indiana realistically could win the B1G
19 Arizona State Sun Devils Coaching concerns with the investigation, but this team is ready to win games. Daniels is a Heisman darkhorse
20 BYU Cougars Losing Zach and over a dozen other Cougs to the NFL is tough, but there is still a lot of talent in Provo
21 Oregon Ducks Their defense should be among the nation’s best, but their QB situation isn’t great
22 Utah Utes Brewer should be an improvement at QB, and there was a mass immigration into SLC from the portal
23 Iowa Hawkeyes Ferentz has been a stable force for Iowa, I expect another good season and possibly a division title
24 Northwestern Wildcats We’ll see if they can replicate their 2020 success. Fitzgerald is very underrated
25 Nevada Wolf Pack Carson Strong will be an NFL draft pick. Question is, does Nevada have enough talent around him yet?
