Overall Rationale: There's been a lot of controversy on the rankings of teams that haven't played yet. I decided I will rank those teams. I usually rank on a combination of my personal opinion and resume but due to the low amount of out of conference play this season, I can't factor in resume. I can only go off how good I think the teams are. So for this, I decided I would try a tier system. If I like it enough, I may continue using it in future seasons. As for the teams that haven't played yet. They will be in the tiers of how good I think they are but as a compromise, teams that haven't played yet will be at the bottom of their specific tier. This was one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult, ballots I've ever submitted. There were a lot of teams I didn't know what I should do with. We might be in for a chaotic season in terms of rankings. Also, Pac-12 teams were not available to be put in the poll despite the conference now playing in the Fall.
