Overall Rationale: Before anyone gets crazy, a non-conference champion should be in the playoffs if the rest of the champions are not worthy of the playoffs (just simply uncomparable). I don't think Utah is that bad from that reasoning. As for 6-10, Minnesota gets priority with their win over Penn State and their improvement over the season. The same case with Oklahoma with Baylor (and has looked dominant all around with good teams). Penn State and Florida, while having two losses, have been dealing with a lot of damn rigor. Alabama and Baylor have not with their one loss against top 10 team. Baylor's win over Texas convinced me that...they're not securely top 10 but not bad enough to be down in the 15's. Big punishment for Oregon since their loss to Arizona State isn't good, and the ones who had a similar situation got out of that (with their head-to-head loss against Auburn).
