1 LSU Tigers LSU's win over Florida I think remains as the best of the college football season. They also have a win on the road at Texas. That's not looking as impressive anymore, especially since we can verify that Texas' defense stinks, but its still a solid win over a 5-2 team on the road. 
2 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State has wins over 5-2 Iowa, 5-2 Michigan, and 5-2 Pittsburgh. I'm not sure they are actually this good but nobody else has wins over teams with records that good. 
3 Ohio State Buckeyes The buckeyes are 7-0 and have a 42-0 blowout win over the 6-1 Cincinnati Bearcats who I have ranked. The buckeyes can prove they belong here this week with a matchup against Wisconsin. 
4 Baylor Bears Baylor is 7-0 with wins over 5-2 Iowa State and 4-2 Kansas State. 
5 Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma is 7-0. Their best win is over 5-2 Texas. Texas defense stinks. Their toughest matchup might be against Baylor. 
6 Clemson Tigers Clemson remains undefeated and seems to have figured it out offensively, but they lack quality wins. Best wins are over 4-3 Texas A&M and 4-3 Louisville.
7 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 7-0, but like Clemson they lack wins over teams worth bragging about. Their best wins are over Texas A&M (4-3) and Duke (4-3). With remaining games against LSU and Auburn, they still have time to prove they belong up top, though. 
8 Florida Gators Florida's only loss is to LSU. They struggled a bit with South Carolina this weekend, but have a really nice win over Auburn. One of the best wins still in all of college football. 
9 Auburn Tigers Auburn is 6-1with only 1 loss on the road to Florida. They have a nice win over Oregon (6-1). 
10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame is 6-1 with their only loss coming on the road at Georgia. Their best win is over Virginia (5-2) and also have okay wins over USC (4-3) and Louisville (4-3). ND has a big game against Michigan this week. 
11 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 6-1 with a nice win over Notre Dame, but I have them a spot back because they have the worst loss for any team this high, dropping a game at home to 3-4 South Carolina. 
12 Wisconsin Badgers Big drop for the badgers with a loss to 3-4 Illinois. That hurts. Badgers can prove they do belong near the top if they were to take down Ohio State on the road this coming weekend. They still have a really nice win in their blowout of 5-2 Michigan. 
13 Utah Utes Utah is 6-1 with a nice win over 5-2 Arizona State. Their only loss is to USC. 
14 Oregon Ducks Oregon's only loss is to Auburn, and that isn't bad, but their Pac12 competition is falling apart. Their best win is over 5-3 Washington. They also have a win over 4-3 California. They could really use Washington winning the rest of its games. 
15 SMU Mustangs SMU remains undefeated. Their best win is over Temple (5-2). They also have a win over TCU (3-3) 
16 Memphis Tigers Memphis has a loss on the road to Temple but has nice wins over Tulane (5-2) and Navy (5-1). 
17 Minnesota Golden Gophers Minnesota is undefeated but their best win is over 4-3 Nebraska. In a couple weeks they play Penn State and then we'll know if they are for real. 
18 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati's only loss is to Ohio State. Their best win is over UCF (5-2).
19 Virginia Cavaliers Virginia is now my top 2 loss team. They have a loss to Notre Dame and a really bad loss to Miami, but they also have a nice win over Pitt (5-2) and also beat Duke (4-3). 
20 Arizona State Sun Devils Arizona state drops after a loss to Utah. They also have a bad loss to Colorado. They have wins over 4-3 Washington State, 4-3 California, and 4-3 Michigan State. 
21 Pittsburgh Panthers Pittsburgh is 5-2. They have losses to Virginia and Penn State but also have wins over UCF (5-2) and Duke (4-3). 
22 Michigan Wolverines Michigan has losses to Penn State and Wisconsin, but has a nice win over 5-2 Iowa. 
23 Navy Midshipmen Navy's only loss is to Memphis. Their best win is over 5-2 Air Force. 
24 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa is 5-2 with losses to Penn State and Michigan. Their best win is over 5-2 Iowa State. 
25 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Wake is 6-1 with a loss to Louisville, but they havent really beaten anyone.
