Overall Rationale: This is a 100% computer poll based solely on resume`. Historically it's real rough in the beginning (small resume`s), but by the time the CFP polls come out, it has learned who actually deserves to be ranked. **How it works** All 130 FBS teams start out tied. Each team is ranked "Best" (1 is the best, 130 is worst) and "Worst" (1 is worst, 130 is the best). If a team beats their opponent, the positive "Worst" rank is averaged into the team's points to determine the team's new rank. If a team loses to their opponent, the negative "Best" rank is averaged into the team's points to determine the team's new rank. These values are dynamic, so a team's points change every week based on their wins and losses AND the wins and losses of each of their played opponents.
