Ballot Type: Human

Overall Rationale: I just randomly pick teams that look kind of good with as much bias as possible to piss of as much of Reddit as possible.
Rank | Team | Reason |
---|---|---|
| Clemson Tigers | Champs stay on top until they lose. They ain't lost yet. |
| LSU Tigers | Loving these Tigers this year. As a Bama fan I hate them, but they are looking like a fantastic team. |
| Ohio State Buckeyes | Took down Michigan State in their first real test of the season. The Big Ten is looking like how the SEC is generally perceived, with the Buckeyes serving as the cream of the crop thus far. |
| Georgia Bulldogs | I love seeing Tennessee getting stomped. Georgia is almost as good a team as UGA is a good boy. |
| Alabama Crimson Tide | A&M will be the Crimson Tide's first real test this season. I've been very worried about Alabama's defense and the Aggies could cause some real problems this weekend. |
| Wisconsin Badgers | Wisconsin makes me feel like the hyenas in The Lion King. Just saying Mufasa/Wisconsin makes my spine shiver. This team is banging. |
| Penn State Nittany Lions | Nothing much to say. They just keep winning. |
| Oklahoma Sooners | This is too low for Oklahoma, but this problem will solve itself this weekend. They didn't play Kansas as well as I think they should have, so that's my excuse for putting them here. |
| Florida Gators | I think this team punched above its weight in beating Auburn, but the Tigers did everything they could to help Florida win. Still undefeated with a win over a (then) top-10 team is dang impressive. And now they get LSU. |
| Texas Longhorns | The title of best one-loss team is getting competitive. I'm still sticking with Texas since they played LSU so close.  Quality loss right there. |
| Auburn Tigers | How did this team lose to Florida? They played so poorly. This is a crazy-dangerous team no one will want to play. Unless they use the same approach they did against Florida. |
| Oregon Ducks | The Ducks' only loss was on a last-second prayer of a throw by Auburn. I can't place them above Auburn right now based on that fact. |
| Notre Dame Fighting Irish | Another team stuck in the one-loss traffic jam. Playing Georgia tough makes them stand out a bit. |
| Michigan Wolverines | I'm making a stink face as I put Michigan here. I don't like this team, but they absolutely shut down Iowa and have only lost to the buzzsaw (or hydronic press) known as Wisconsin. I can be mature and put a team I don't like in a spot they deserve. At least this week. |
| Utah Utes | I still like this team. A lot. But they can't have another USC performance. I'm still confused by that one. |
| Iowa Hawkeyes | I KNEW Iowa was going to destroy Michigan. This is why I don't gamble (because I know nothing and I'm hoping the powers-that-be don't figure this out). I want to rank them higher, but I feel like deserve to be ranked lower. |
| Boise State Broncos | Good ol' undefeated Boise State. Love 'em. Wish they could play a tougher schedule. |
| Virginia Cavaliers | Still holding onto Virginia being a really above-average, kind-of-good, may-surprise-you kind of team.  |
| SMU Mustangs | So if Boise State gets a ranking in the teens, why not SMU? That's some logic, ladies and gentlemen. |
| Arizona State Sun Devils | I should be ranking these guys higher as they've beaten two ranked teams, but I just can't believe they are for reals. But I'm a well-documented fool. |
| Cincinnati Bearcats | Cincinnati has a dang good resume. Ohio State destroyed them, but how many teams ranked this low wouldn't be smashed by the Buckeyes. I like these Bearcats, and knocking off UCF really made me smile! |
| Memphis Tigers | Memphis has played a nice schedule and has yet to stumble. Let's give these Tigers some props! |
| Wake Forest Demon Deacons | I have no desire to rank Wake. I think they are a complete paper tiger, er, Demon Deacon. But they have beaten everyone they have faced, so I'll stick 'em in here. |
| Missouri Tigers | I don't know how to explain the lose to Wyoming to open the season, but outside of that misstep, these Tigers are looking pretty stout. They could make a decent run in the SEC East. |
| Baylor Bears | Undefeated in a major conference. I don't think they will stay perfect for long, but I'll let them enjoy being on my poll (wink). Minnesota could have taken this spot, but I think the Bears have played the tougher schedule. |
