Overall Rationale: This is the first week that preseason projects were removed in the generation of the poll.  One important think to note is this poll can be less reactive than human polls since the computer attempts to predict the final AP poll of the season based on the current metrics.  In other words, it attempts to answer the question of who will be the best team at the end of the season, not who is currently the best team.
