Overall Rationale: I'm calling this a hybrid, because I do a set calculation (albeit a simple one) to assign points based off who you have beaten, with a penalty for losing when you aren't supposed to and then make eye test adjustments. It works out that 4 points is what you are "supposed" to do (that would net you a 18th place ranking at this point). No top 30 team should lose, so you get more points for beating those teams. Additionally, you only lose points when you are upset.I used Massey Composite again this week to assign points, my system doesn't have enough separation between teams yet. Additionally, I will move team +/- 5 spots to account for the eye test (hybrid portion).
