1 Alabama Crimson Tide I don't think Alabama could have played a more complete game of football than they did against Vanderbilt. Bama played on another level this week, and god help us if that team continues to show up.
2 Clemson Tigers Clemson hops Oklahoma after cruising to an easy win over Boston College.
3 Oklahoma Sooners Baylor played much better than anyone expected, but barely beating a winless team causes Oklahoma to drop a spot.
4 Michigan Wolverines Nobody really seems to want this number 4 spot, but Michigan did the best job taking care of business against Purdue. Still very close with USC, Washington, and Penn State for this spot.
5 USC Trojans The final scoreline against Cal doesn't tell the whole story here, as the game was closer that 10 points seems to suggest.
6 Washington Huskies Washington's offense continues to look good, but it will need to keep on dominating with a weak schedule.
7 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State needed every single second to pull out a victory over Iowa. Good win, but not impressive enough to warrant a top 5 spot.
8 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State just keeps taking care of business, they are going to need some help from other teams to climb.
9 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia took control early and beat down a hot Miss St team. This team should be the favorite in the SEC East.
10 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin got the week off so they will hang out at the same spot.
11 Washington State Cougars Washington St crushed Nevada, but will need to stay undefeated to keep climbing.
12 TCU Horned Frogs Huge win for TCU over Ok St, gives the Horned Frogs a 4 place bump.
13 Virginia Tech Hokies Good news is that Techs defense looks great, bad news is that it was against Old Dominion.
14 Louisville Cardinals Louisville rebounds offensively, but will have to win out to get a shot to move up.
15 Oklahoma State Cowboys Tough loss to TCU drops the Cowboys way down, but they will get a big opportunity against OU in the coming weeks.
16 Miami Hurricanes Miami gets back on the field with an easy game against Toledo. Best team in Florida right now.
17 West Virginia Mountaineers WVU just has to keep winning games to stay in the rankings, but early troubles against Kansas do not bear confidence.
18 LSU Tigers LSU squeaks out the win, but look for the Tigers to drop at least one more this year to Bama.
19 Florida Gators Florida is living on borrowed time right not with last second wins against Tennessee and Kentucky. Maybe Del Rio will be the solution to their offensive woes.
20 San Diego State Aztecs Aztecs get to hang around after a close win to Air Force.
21 USF Bulls Welcome to the rankings USF, keep winning and they will stay in.
22 Utah Utes Utah starts off 4-0 and looks to play in the Pac 12 after a narrow win over Oregon.
23 Auburn Tigers Either Auburn has figured it out offensively, or Missouri's defense is just that bad. I lean towards the latter, but Auburn gets back into the rankings.
24 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa was one play away from sky rocketing into the polls, but couldn't get it done.
