Overall Rationale: Composite rankings using team offense, defense, and sagarin metrics. Heavy focus on top 10/30 wins.As such, and so early in the season this will undoubtedly place this on the controversial ballots. Since there is a penalty imposed for losing a week, and for overall loses (cutoff values change as the season progresses to reflect more games), there are a number of 2-1 teams that are excluded, notably Ohio State (#44). The poll course-corrects over the season, and is usually closer to where I would rank teams by week ~6.
