Rank Team Reason
Oregon Ducks Huge win over Penn State dominated the majority of the game
Ohio State Buckeyes Won however Oregon jumps them do to caliber of opponent also Ohio State Played Texas at home, Oregon had to travel to Penn State.
Miami Hurricanes It is hard to go down in ranking during a bye week.
Texas Longhorns A lot of teams in front of them lost.
Iowa State Cyclones Still winning games.
Texas A&M Aggies Still Undefeated and Cool.
Indiana Hoosiers Undefeated and looking powerful going into the bye week.
Ole Miss Rebels Big win over LSU
Penn State Nittany Lions Dominated by Oregon, for a majority of the game, but clawed their way back into it and caused a 2OT thriller that had me on my seat.
Oklahoma Sooners Teams in front of them lost.
Texas Tech Red Raiders Bye week.
Vanderbilt Commodores Anchor Down: Undefeated still looking strong.
LSU Tigers Lost to a good Ole Miss Squad
Alabama Crimson Tide You Beat Georgia, so you go up :(
Georgia Bulldogs Alabama>Georgia>Tennessee
Tennessee Volunteers I would have put them higher but that would negate head to head with Georgia, and I value that statistic
Florida State Seminoles Losing to an unranked Virginia doesn't help your cause at all.
Michigan Wolverines That loss to Oklahoma doesn't look bad at all.
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Not comfortable with how they did it but they still remain unbeaten somehow, however they have yet to be really tested against a team in the top 25 and that is hard to judge.
Missouri Tigers Slaughtered UMass
Illinois Fighting Illini Win over USC pushes them up a few slots.
Arizona State Sun Devils Solid win over TCU
Utah Utes Beat West Virginia, however that loss to Texas Tech looms large to see whether they sink or swim against ranked opponents
Memphis Tigers Best G6 team in my Opinion and I rank at least one G6 per entry.
USC Trojans Losing to Illinois is not bad, it just isn't great for them right now.
