Ballot Type: Human
Submitted: Sept. 30, 2025, 12:15 a.m.
Overall Rationale: looked at week 5, attempted to order the teams that won first, then attempted to slot in teams that lost into reasonable positions. Teams that were on bye were usually not moved around too much unless other teams really did things

If oregon won more decisively, they'd probably be #2, but still #1 until proven otherwise |
2 |

won against penn state, so by default at least top 5 |
3 |
![]() |
on bye |
4 |

lsu win on top of the previous week resume means this team has the strongest case imo |
5 |
![]() |
on bye |
6 |

idk if auburn is good but i mean, they beat notre dame? |
7 |
![]() |
iowa win felt closer than it shoud be given last week |
8 |
![]() |
on bye, but mostly here due to teams in front losing |
9 |
![]() |
this feels high considering their opponents, but they are 5-0 and none of the games have been remotely close |
10 |
![]() |
arizona win finally at least gives me some confidence in that this record isn't flukey |
11 |

this begins the chain of "1 loss teams that either lost to really good teams or each other" and is really a vibes thing partially on matchups and partially on whichever team I think is best. Georgia gets priority via tennesse win and their loss against bama being extremely close |
12 |
![]() |
besides the head to head against bama, virginia might actually be an alright team that just has a really weird loss against nc state |
13 |
![]() |
bama losing to florida state decisively implies florida state should be ahead. They are still gaining 8 ranks from last week so this feels very fair |
14 |
![]() |
they do have a loss to ohio state but no really quality wins either, hence why they're getting bumped down |
15 |
![]() |
close loss to georgia and also a win against miss state |
16 |
![]() |
ole miss loss, and the other wins in hindsight (mainly clemson) are very suspicious |
17 |
![]() |
they showed they're at least able to keep up with oregon even if they lost in ot. Thus no drop even if they lost (was considering placing them higher but rewarding losses feels wrong) |
18 |
![]() |
this feels kinda low, but in fairness, idk if umass is exactly elite here |
19 |
![]() |
dropped behind missouri mainly because we all saw that wake forest game |
20 |
![]() |
on bye |
21 |
![]() |
if it's anything at the rate this is going, they may sneak in the playoffs if they win out |
22 |
![]() |
narrowly beating TCU should give a few spots |
23 |
![]() |
florida state win, and looking at it, ignoring the nc state debacle, all of the other games have been very clear and decisive wins |
24 |
![]() |
continues to run through their schedule, no change here |
25 |
![]() |
I mean, they're undefeated and have a p4 win |
