Overall Rationale: Rankings should primarily reflect what has happened on the field this season, with sort of a power ranking for teams that have similar resumes. Teams who win don't deserve to be rewarded, teams who lose don't deserve to punished - but what happened this past week is an additional data point in viewing team resumes. Giving high level reasoning here - it's preseason poll so it's just guesswork. I put Ohio State number 1 because they are the reigning National Champions, and I don't think there's a clear cut preseason number 1 team. After that it's just based on my general opinion of what each team has on paper and my trust in their coaching staffs. I'm not filling out individual reasons this week
