Player_1_has_Joined Ballot for 2025 Preseason

Overall Rationale: My ballot begins as a strict computer power rating. Over the course of the season, a team's resume is weighted more and more heavily as we get closer to the post season as an attempt to mimic how the CFP committee would make their top 25. You may notice there are some noteworthy omissions with ASU and Illinois. My model sees their success last year as relatively fluky and not likely to be repeated this year. There is also a heavy amount of SEC representation in my ballot which was more than I anticipated. My computer model attempts to come up with a similar measurement that you may see with ESPN's FPI or Bill Connelly's SP+. These measurements are forward looking and take talent on the roster into heavy consideration. Because of the stronger recruiting of the SEC in recent years, this creates a bit more of an inherent bias in the early season power rankings. When resume starts becoming a more important factor in my computer ballot, these SEC teams will begin to slide down or off the ballot by nature of having to play each other.
