Overall Rationale: My computer ballot starts the year as a strict power ranking and then weights resume more and more as the season goes along in an attempt to predict how the committee may have made their selections in the past. I've tinkered with my algorithm going in this year and I'm much more pleased with how the results have turned out so far for the most part with the exception of BYU being underranked in my ballot for a few weeks. They may be still undervalued now but at least they are close to where the AP Poll has them so I think that is kind of cool how my metrics have almost caught up with them. Other than that I don't see anything that jumps out to me too much as being a weird ranking to me. I will note that South Carolina being ranked at 4-3 may be a little odd but two of their losses were by a field goal or less to LSU and Alabama and the road stomping of Oklahoma looks very good from a computer's standpoint.
