1 Oregon Ducks Undefeated power 5. 2 quality ranked wins over BSU and tOSU
2 Georgia Bulldogs Best win in the country vs Texas on the road. 2 ranked win in trong fashion. Struggled against Miss St and Kentucky. High quality loss by 1 score on the road.
3 BYU Cougars 2 ranked wins, undefeated. BYU quality win hype train rolls on as KSU and SMU keep racking up wins.
4 Penn State Nittany Lions Undefeated power 5. Good win over Illinoi, struggled vs a 3-4 USC team and a mid Bowling Green Team.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Best loss in the nation- 1 point on road. Have dominated all other games they appeared in.
6 Indiana Hoosiers Haven't trailed. Dominant win over good Nebraska, so they jump other undefeateds.
7 Iowa State Cyclones Barely beating UCF at home, but have a better quality win in Iowa on the road that Miami. Just looked a little more consistent than Miami.
8 Miami Hurricanes Defence sucks. But they keep winning. Shouldn't be undefeated which is why they're below ISU. But Refball rules All, #8.
9 Tennessee Volunteers Quality win over Bama- better win than Texas, but worse against common opponent (Oklahoma). Destroyed other teams earlier in the year. Real toss-up for 9-10
10 Texas Longhorns Loss at home to UGA. No ranked wins anymore so behind Tennessee. might be a bit of a knee jerk to move them down so much but there still are undefeated teams
11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Worst loss out of the top 25, but have controlled every other game. Road double digit win over A&M gives them a cushion to sit on.
12 Boise State Broncos Ashton Jeanty Dominated every team they've faced. Win vs WAZZU keeps getting better. Loss also keep aging better.
13 Texas A&M Aggies Dominant win over ranked opponent carries the way. Loss to ND at home limits the ceiling
14 Clemson Tigers Destroyed by only good team they played. Destroyed everyone else. IDK what to think of them.
15 Kansas State Wildcats Some really decent wins on the schedule. Colorado, blowing out Ok St., Tulane on the road, followed by destroying WVU on the Road.
16 LSU Tigers Lots of meh wins up until now. Beat a decent Ole Miss team, refballed past SCar, but looked great this weekend @ a not bad Arkansas squad. Loss to 3-4 USC still isn't good and they're still overranked but I'm coming around on them.
17 Pittsburgh Panthers Undefeated P5 team, albeit not convincingly- which is why they're so low. Chance for good resume building wins as the season goes on though.
18 Alabama Crimson Tide Best 2 loss team obviously with 2 not awful losses (Vandy loss isn't good but it was on the road by a score). Quality win over #2 ranks them so high
19 Navy Midshipmen Not as dominant as Army but they beat Memphis which is much better than Army's best win.
20 Army West Point Garbage schedule but haven't trailed so dominance puts them here.
21 Illinois Fighting Illini Nice win vs Michigan. Only loss on road vs ranked team. Beat Nebraska on the road also looks decent.
22 SMU Mustangs 6-1. 1 loss by a single score. Beat a solid Louisville squad on the road. Comfortably won their other games
23 Missouri Tigers Their best win might be Vandy at this point. Beat them on the road- gotta be higher than them. This doesn't mean I like you
24 Washington State Cougars Only loss against a ranked team. Beat Texas Tech and Washington and Sj St, none of whom are bad. 6-1
25 Syracuse Orange Was gonna put UNLV but Cuse beat them on the road and have the same record
