1	Oregon Ducks	High powered offense that can beat anyone.
2	Georgia Bulldogs	Strong wins against Texas and Clemson, early season rust seems to be gone.
3	Ohio State Buckeyes	Best loss of any team and can go toe-to-toe with anybody. Have crushed all non-Oregon opponents.
4	Penn State Nittany Lions	Record doesn't lie. Still some questions with close game at USC but a strong win over a good Illinois squad.
5	Texas Longhorns	Didn't look great in loss to Georgia but had a decent defensive performace and showed signs of life in the 2nd half. Very strong otherwise and has flexibility at QB.
6	LSU Tigers	USC loss keeps looking worse but the team keeps looking better.
7	Clemson Tigers	Game 1 Georgia loss looking less bad by the week and this team has been rolling ever since.
8	Indiana Hoosiers	They finally played somebody. It didn't go well for somebody. Cignetti is cooking.
9	Miami Hurricanes	On fraud watch but still 7-0 with Cam Ward.
10	Tennessee Volunteers	Excellent defense and strong conference wins. Still a team to look out for in the SEC.
11	Texas A&M Aggies	Handling business in conference play.
12	Iowa State Cyclones	Can win when it matters but doesn't look particularly convincing. The Big 12 is a knife fight.
13	Notre Dame Fighting Irish	You just can't lose to Northern Illinois.
14	Boise State Broncos	Ashton Jeanty.
15	BYU Cougars	Iowa State on Mountain Time.
16	Kansas State Wildcats
17	Illinois Fighting Illini	If the Purdue game remains an outlier Illinois remains a threat.
18	Ole Miss Rebels	Alabama with slightly better losses and more fake injuries.
19	Alabama Crimson Tide	An Alabama team with two losses before Halloween is something to see.
20	Army West Point
21	Pittsburgh Panthers
22	SMU Mustangs
23	Navy Midshipmen
24	Vanderbilt Commodores	Can beat anybody. Can lose to almost anybody. The ultimate wild card of CFB.
25	Missouri Tigers	Someone has to be ranked #25, and everyone at the top of the "receiving votes" column lost. But this team isn't actually good.
