2 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia looked too good vs. Texas to not jump Penn St.
3 Texas Longhorns Texas doesn't fall below Penn St. because of better wins. Not going to push them far down for losing to Georgia.
4 Penn State Nittany Lions Undefeated, legit team. Would have stayed above Texas if they didn't struggle with a USC team that lost to Maryland last week.
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Bye week, same with Penn St, Texas loss can't put them below a team like OSU who doesn't have a big win yet. Best win is Michigan State?
6 Miami Hurricanes Didn't do enough to jump OSU vs. Louisville that defense SUCKS
7 Clemson Tigers I just can't put them underneath IU, BYU, or ISU just because they got beat by Georgia. Not yet. looked a little suspicious vs Virginia though at times.
8 Indiana Hoosiers Big jump for the Hoosiers, but this is the furthest up I could put them. If the margin of victory wasn't so big they would be ranked around 12
9 BYU Cougars Indiana dominates, BYU plays a close one.
10 Iowa State Cyclones Can't put them above Indiana or BYU after being scared that bad by a banged up UCF
11 Tennessee Volunteers Hard team to rank. Decided the Bama win was bigger than any win that LSU or ND have.
12 LSU Tigers I know many have LSU higher, but that USC loss just keeps getting worse. Good job taking quick care of ARK but that USC loss stings.
13 Boise State Broncos Ashton. Jeanty. Almost beat #1 team in the nation.
14 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Crazy to think that this is the number 2 or 3 team in the nation if it isn't for NIU. They need to thank A&M every day because they would barely be ranked rn without that win.
15 Texas A&M Aggies Tough team but can't put them above ND or LSU.
16 Kansas State Wildcats KState/SMU/Illinois are tied for 16 in my book.
17 SMU Mustangs
18 Illinois Fighting Illini
19 Pittsburgh Panthers Where the heck do you place the Pitt Panthers. I don't know either. Syracuse game this week will answer a lot.
20 Alabama Crimson Tide Heisman canidate Jalen Milroe and the Crimson Tide do not have much to stand on after the loss to TENN. Best win is Wisconsin? Or South Carolina?
21 Ole Miss Rebels Another SEC team that I don't know what to do with. Best win is South Carolina or Wake? Ouch. Too much talent to not rank.
22 Colorado Buffaloes Probably my most controversial pick. Buffs are heating up and I don't think they lose to Nebraska if they play today. Took care of Arizona easily.
23 Navy Midshipmen Memphis win helps with be over Army.
24 Army West Point
25 Washington State Cougars It was between WSU, Missouri, and Vandy for 25. Vandy should have had it but didn't beat Ball St by enough, and Bama loss hurts them. Missouri is not it bruh idc.
