Overall Rationale: Each week I make my rankings based on the resumes of teams so far this season. Early in the season, my rankings are pretty weird compared to the group, but as the season moves on it starts to look more like everyone else's.

1 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia started off the season beating down Clemson in dominating fashion. Looked like a very good team.
2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame started their season taking down a ranked Texas A&M team on the road. Very nice win.
3 USC Trojans USC started the season defeating a ranked LSU in Las Vegas. That's a very nice win.
4 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State started the season with a nice road win over West Virginia.
5 Miami Hurricanes Miami started the season with a nice road win over Florida.
6 North Carolina Tar Heels North Carolina is 1-0 with a road win over Minnesota.
7 TCU Horned Frogs TCU is 1-0 with a road win over Stanford.
8 Vanderbilt Commodores Vanderbilt is 1-0 with a win over Virginia Tech.
9 UNLV Rebels UNLV is 1-0 with a win over Houston (who I'm counting as a decent win because they are p5. Not sure how long that will last)
10 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Georgia tech is 2-0 with wins over Florida State and Georgia State. I would have had them higher if FSU had defeated Boston College. As it is, that might not turn out to be a very impressive win.
11 Boston College Eagles Boston College is 1-0 with a win over Florida State.
12 SMU Mustangs SMU is 2-0. Best win is over Nevada (1-1).
13 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State dominated Akron in their opener and is 1-0. Here begins my rankings of teams that dominated terrible opponents.
14 Texas Longhorns Texas dominated Colorado State in their opener and is 1-0. They play Michigan this week and a win would put them up with Georgia at the top of the poll.
15 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama dominated Western Kentucky in their opener and is 1-0.
16 Ole Miss Rebels Ole Miss dominated Furman in their opener and are 1-0.
17 Tennessee Volunteers Tennessee dominated Chattanooga to start 1-0.
18 Arkansas Razorbacks Arkansas scored 70 points in their dominant opener.
19 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas State dominated UT-Martin and are 1-0.
20 Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma dominated Temple and is 1-0.
21 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State defeated SDSU and is 1-0.
22 Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa scored 40 points! 1-0.
23 Arizona Wildcats Arizona dominated New Mexico and is 1-0.
24 Michigan Wolverines Michigan defeated Fresno State to start the season 1-0. They have a huge matchup with Texas this week. A win could push them up to the top of my rankings.
25 Nebraska Cornhuskers Nebraska dominated UTEP and is 1-0. A win over Colorado this week could move them up a bit.
