Overall Rationale: Not too many big changes, I rated Tennessee and Miami higher than most so while they don't move much in this poll, they are now top ten or fringe top 10 teams. I was higher on NC State and VT as potential ACC darkhorse squads, neither impressed and both get dropped, although the Wolfpack have a better case to get back (obviously). I bumped Oregon one spot, but I'm not willing to send them down too far after an uninspired win against FCS Idaho. I will bump Michigan a little more, but that is more about rewarding Notre Dame and Penn State for quality road wins. We see the biggest jumps from Utah, K-State, and OU, who took care of business against lesser teams and benefit from Clemson, LSU, and Florida State dropping in front of them. A bad week for the ACC, which saw 3 teams drop out from the Week 1 poll, but fellow ACC members GT and Louisville join the party. USC also makes their debut with a huge jump from unranked to #16 after a gritty win against LSU.
