2 Oregon Ducks They are over Ohio State because I am much more confident in their qb/wr situation. Dillon gabriel and evan stewart are huge transfers (then add Tez Johnson) and Ohio State is stuck with Will Howard throwing to people not named Marvin Harrison Jr
3 Ohio State Buckeyes
4 Texas Longhorns
5 Ole Miss Rebels Amazing transfer portal and Jaxon dart coming back, Lane kiffins team should be deadly
6 Alabama Crimson Tide Milroe already had to bail this team out last year so losing Saban will be a big hit, still a talented roster though
7 Michigan Wolverines Despite losing a lot they still have five first round talents on the roster (4 on defense). This should be the best defense in football, the offense just relying on Alex Orji to be competent
8 Penn State Nittany Lions
9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
10 Missouri Tigers Brady cook and luther burden will be a top duo but defense is very concerning
11 Florida State Seminoles Will DJU finally take the step up?
12 Utah Utes Kyle Wittingham is a great coach and with 10th year senior cam rising this is a very disciplined team
13 Oklahoma Sooners Theyve been slowly building up since that 6-7 season, with Jackson Arnold this team should be even better next year
14 Tennessee Volunteers All depends on Nico Iamaleva
15 Miami Hurricanes This is not the same Miami team getting all the preseason hype… Cam Ward is a huge hit and with Damien Martinez and Xavier Restrepo as weapons this team could be the ACC favorite
16 Kansas Jayhawks Jalon Daniels is my heisman dark horse. If not for injuries he wouldve already been in the conversation. Expect this team to make a run in the big 12 if not the playoffs. Devin Neal in the backfield also helps.
17 USC Trojans Miller Moss looked great in their bowl game, if he develops a connection with Zach Branch watch out. Of course the question is if their defense had no talent or it was Alex Grinch (probably the latter)
18 Clemson Tigers This team has been consistently overrated the past few years. Dabos inability to use the transfer portal has severely hurt this team (especially the offense)
19 Arizona Wildcats Will Jedd Fisch leaving impact this offense?
20 LSU Tigers You take a team with the horrendous defense LSU had last year and then take away the Heisman quarterback and two NFL caliber receivers. Garrett Nussmeier needs to play lights out if he wants to outscore his opponents
21 Iowa Hawkeyes Yes, Cade McNamara looked awful in practice, but this is Iowa. If they can get ranked #2 with Spencer Petras, anything is possible.
22 Wisconsin Badgers Luke Fickell should eventually get his system into place. The defense should hold this team down
23 Boise State Broncos Malachi Nelson and Ashton Jeanty will be very tough matchups for the rest of the mountain west. This is the team I can see taking the Group of Five bid.
24 NC State Wolfpack Grayson McCall and Kevin Concepcion could be a dangerous duo, but all logic ignored, I just can’t see NC State being a powerhouse program.
25 Oklahoma State Cowboys Ollie Gordon is the whole team.
