Overall Rationale: This is the first poll. I tend not to pay attention to offseason news/recruits/portal so I'm mostly just gonna copy the ap poll and make a couple predictions cause idk what happens if I don't submit. It may be bad. I go to TAMU and grew up an ASU fan for biases.

1 Georgia Bulldogs As seen in last year's championship, a great d can dominate a great o. Idk if I think Beck is that good, depends on development, but their d will guarantee they compete
2 Texas Longhorns I think Ewers may be the best qb in the league, at least going into the year. There is value to having that. Unfortunately, I'm putting them at 2
3 Ohio State Buckeyes
4 Oregon Ducks
5 Alabama Crimson Tide
6 Ole Miss Rebels
7 Utah Utes I'm high on the Big XII this year. There is a lot of talent and I think it's gonna be a great year. If Utah can avoid injuries, they'll be right back to the top of the conference.
8 Oklahoma State Cowboys Ollie Gordon is very good at football. Gundy is a good coach. As long as they don't lose some stupid game, they could have a really good year.

25 Nebraska Cornhuskers Idk, Rhule is a good coach and they are improving. Not putting USC because idk how much better you can get after losing Caleb Williams. Also, as a TAMU fan, to the rankers: STOP RANKING US WE DONT DESERVE IT MAKE US PROVE IT OMG. There is no reason to expect we are a top 25 team in the nation. Would be nice, but it isn't happening in Elko's first year. Not sure how much better the o-line can get in one offseason. And our secondary is still gonna stink. Our offense should be good as a whole, thanks to Weigman, but our d is gonna stink.
