Weak 1, as a homer joke because preseason polls are meaningless, I put FSU number 1. They lost.Because of the weird scheduling I missed week 2.Week 3, in another blatant attempt at homer humor I said "let's get stupid" and put UCF at number 1. They lost.Week 4? I missedWeek 5? Notre Dame. If they barely beat out FSU and go on to win it all, maybe we aren't so bad. They lost.Week 6. Let's stop messing around and admit Bama is the best team. Let's take this seriously... They lost.I lost track of a couple weeks, and almost got booted from the poll. So last minute submitted a pretty tame poll, with a fun little caveat, I'd put my old roommate's alma mater (and fellow ACC team) Wake at #1. They lost.So I would like to say, without a shadow of a doubt: MIAMI IS THE BEST TEAM IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL. THEY WANT BAMA. THEY WANT GEORGIA. VAN DYKE WILL WIN THE HEISMAN. |
