Ballot Type: Human
Submitted: Sept. 27, 2021, 10:56 a.m.
Overall Rationale: Human poll relying mostly on Resume, SoS, and MoV. Eye-test used sparingly, and only in situations with similar bodies of work for the season. i try to actively negate poll inertia and allow strong movements up and down if the resume doesnt support your placements after the win or loss.Preseason poll inertia still slightly in effect for teams like OU. If they dont pick up performance, theyre gonna stagnate in the 15-25 range here pretty soon. This week was difficult, as there are several teams that i feel deserve to be in the 20-25 range, but could only pick 5. If you feel like your team was slightly slighted, know that there were 9 teams i wanted to put in the 20-25 range that i view pretty much all equally.

The Wiscy win is big. It alleviated some of the pressure from the bad games played previously by ND. |

The loss to arkansas looks not bad, and in their other games Texas put up a billion points. Not sure if they deserve to be ranked or not but definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. |
